Eventbrite

eventbrite.co.uk (“Eventbrite”) is used by Liverpool Slush’D for the purposes of facilitating, ticketing and promoting our events, in addition to collecting data on attendees to enable us and our sponsors to tailor the content of our events to our audience. We are committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal information (‘personal data’).

This policy (together with the terms of use on eventbrite.co.uk) describes how we collect and use your personal data during your use of this site, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and associated data protection legislation.

Eventbrite processes data (including any personal data you may submit by responding to this invitation) outside of the European Economic Area. Please only submit any personal data which you are happy to have processed in this way, and in accordance with Eventbrite’s privacy policy applicable to attendees.

Liverpool Slush’D enters into agreements with all of its sponsors, whereby all sponsors of a particular event become Data Controllers of the data which is captured during the ticket registration process on Eventbrite for that particular event. This information is captured as part of the ticket registration process so as to guide the content we put into our events and the marketing campaigns which promote them. You cannot purchase a ticket to a Liverpool Slush’D event without consenting to this and this is made clear during the registration process.

This agreement also stipulates that should registrants opt to not be contacted by event sponsors with discounts, offers and other opportunities, sponsors must not contact them. Registrants must explicitly opt-in, in order to be contacted by sponsors regarding such opportunities. Opting in is not mandatory and all tickets for our events can be purchased without opting in.

One special category of data can be optionally recorded as part of the Eventbrite ticket registration process - and that is where registrants indicate if they have any allergies or medical conditions which Liverpool Slush’D should make accommodations for. This data is never shared with sponsors, is destroyed permanently upon conclusion of the event, and is recorded solely to ensure the safety and successful participation of those with food allergies and medical conditions which might affect their experience of a Liverpool Slush’D event.
